The Tools menu option has eight sub options, however not all users have access to these options. Refer to the Security Roles Matrix to see which users can access options within the Tools menu.
Change Default OLA – Choose the default that automatically applies when calling up screens that use an OLA filter.
Change Password – Used to change the password for the user name you are currently logged in as.
Transfer In Persons – Used to transfer in persons from another database and assign them to an OLA in your IQS database.
Transfer Out Persons – Used to select one or more individuals to transfer out of your database.
Export Data – Exports data from IQSweb into a comma separated values (.CSV) format.
Delete Persons – Used to delete one or more individuals from your IQS database.
Cleanup – Clean up utility used to reverse names, view dependencies, merge duplicates and reassign persons to new organizations.
Apply Catalog Updates – Used to update national level data in courses, equivalencies, jobs, prerequisites and currencies.
