The Apply Catalog Updates option in the Tools menu allows the IQS Manager to compare their local IQS database information on courses, course equivalencies, jobs, job currencies, experience prerequisites and training prerequisites against the national standard as specified in the Wildland Fire Qualification System Guide PMS 310-1, Field Manager’s Course Guide PMS 901-1 and other related documents. The updates page will enable users to quickly update their database as new 310-1 and 910-1 documents become available and allow IQS Managers to ensure their local database is aligned with national standards.
